John David Massengill was born on May 11, 1844 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. His parents were John Massengill and Nancy Smith. He married Josephine Evans. Norman Hood Massengill During the Civil War he was was a private in Company B, 4th Tennessee cavalry regiment. He graduated from Baltimore College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1874. He died on January 8, 1919 in Blountville, Tennessee. |
